Discover the Most Beautiful Mile of Water
in the World!

Connecting Lake Dora to Lake Eustis, this one mile passage was straightened in the late 1880’s to allow steam boats to transport oranges and mail from Lake Dora into the Oklawaha River. It’s banks are lined with bald cypress tress and their unique rooting system that creates fantastic places for the numerous birds, alligators, and turtles to display themselves.
